This I believe...

I believe that learning is a never ending experience that is continuously evolving and adding depth to our knowledge. I believe that learning comes from self-motivation, and we, as teachers, are agents of motivation that make learning fun and exciting for our students.

I believe that school should be a safe and fun place to learn. Students should be provided with ample opportunities to practice their goals which they can obtain. Through obtainable goals set by both the teacher and student, the student will then acquire the motivation and determination within to complete their goal.

I believe

I believe that learning is the core of life. From the time we first open our eyes all we know, experience, and ultimately are is learned.

This I Believe...

Learning is more than just knowing basic skills and memorizing facts. Knowledge and the ability to learn new information is a tool necessary to live a fulfilled life. I believe that a great teacher is one who inspires his or her students to do their best work and who creates a love for his or her subject in a student.

This I Believe...

i believe that education is one of the most precious gifts a person can recieve. Through education one is able to attain many of the goals he or she wishes to achieve. I believe learning is built through experience, and through these experiences we obtain the knowledge to overcome many life obstacles.

This I Believe...

Learning is the discovery of new information. This discovery can take place in any setting at any given time; it can be random and spontaneous. While it is often institutionalized, providing teachers to instruct students, it ultimately depends upon the learner. In reality, teachers only act as guides. In fact, many times one teaches his or her self. The discovery of this new knowledge is a complex process the student undergoes each occurence, no matter how simple the new facts learned.

This I believe...

Education is a lifelong process that is not simply confined to school or college. Beginning the moment we are born we are students of life. School is an important component of learning because it provides a structured environment where students are able to interact with peers of about the same age as themselves. The teacher is a key element to the student's motivation. Inspiring the students to want to learn should be the goal. Often times in school it's hard to have that motive because it often feels like the only reason to do the work or do the reading is so that you do not fail. So it is important to make the education in schools enjoyable and productive.

This I believe

This I believe...
I believe that learning & motivation depends on the teacher's attributes and what the student feels he/she will get out of the learning experience. If the student feels comfortable with the teacher & environment and also knows that something of benefit will encompass with the learning experience, that'll help prompt them to persist in being educated.

This I Believe....

This I believe that learning and motivation are two of the main elements in teaching. The problem sometimes is getting students to learn or be motivated. The best way that I feel students learn is by interaction. Talking about a topic can only take a students imagination so far. If a student can ingage in that topic, I feel they can learn much more. Whether that is going on a field trip, having the students talk to each other, a project, etc. Technology is so advanced in today’s world that almost anything can be interactive. Times have changed and I feel that teachers can use the technology to their advantage. With motivation, I feel that students learn best when they have a general relationship with the teacher beyond the classroom. Some of the best teachers I had would always ask how the day is going and they seemed interested in how I was doing. When students feel they have an open relationship with the teacher, where they can come in and talk if they need help, then I feel they will be motivated to do well in class. If a teacher can tap the students interests outside of the classroom and somehow incorporate them into the lesson plan, then students will be more motivated also. I will end with a great Chinese proverb that I fully agree with, "Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand."

This I believe…

Learning stems from motivation, and motivation begins with the teacher. A teacher needs to be self-motivated, and always striving for self-improvement. Students have a great sense of insight, and when a teacher is motivated and inspired, the students will be inspired as well.

This I believe statement...

This I believe…
A teacher holds the key that opens up a world of opportunity and knowledge through perceptions and observations. This teacher is able instill a sense of motivation through the lessons she or he teaches, their personality, the passion they have for teaching.
I believe that learning should be a fun experience. Children should want to go to school instead of being "forced" to do so. I believe that it is the teacher's job to make education fun. If a teacher wants to be at school and acts like he or she wants to be at school, the students will want to be there too.
I believe that education should be available and attainable for all people. I believe that education should be affordable and effective. I believe the power and effectiveness of education lies in the proper training and ability of the educator. I believe that an educational atmosphere should be fair, comfortable, and open to the views of every person. I also believe that education should be enjoyable and applicable to the real world.

This I Believe

This I believe about learning and motivation is that one must be motivated in an enjoyable fashion or activity in order to learn what is being taught or sought after.
